Not able to install downlaoded chrome browser

Hi , I downlaoded chrome browser. I tried to install throgh software center but it is not getting installed . Kindly guide me in this regard.

If you downloaded deb package just double click on it and Chrome installation will begin.

Why not just install the one in the software repositories "chromium-browser"? If you want a newer one , you can look at some of the PPAs available.
