uninstall Unetbootin

Asked by Vedran

I installed Linux Mint 10 using UNetbootin. I used my hard disk C: as start up sequence ("frugal install"). Everything was fine. But now I have a problem .I wonder how to uninstall Unetbootin. I ve read this: (on http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/#other)
Removal Instructions (Applicable only to Hard Disk / "frugal installs")
If using Windows, UNetbootin should prompt you to remove it the next time you boot into Windows. Alternatively, you can remove it via Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
But nothing of this happend. In Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel there is no UNetbootin. I cannot find it by other programs specified as uninstaller.

I cannot uninstall Unetbootin, what means I cannot start Linux in dual-boot menu. (I have two HDD. 1.st is Windows, 2. Linux) Previously I have it installed over Mint CD, and dual boot was fine, but I wanted to move over to Mint 10.. Now(with UNetboot) , when I boot, Windows gives me choice to boot Windows or UNetbootin. Linux is disappeared.
When I watch C: it looks like LinuxMint installation disk.
Please how can I uninstall unetbootin.
    Thanks!
PS: I can boot second HD (linux) from BIOS and it is good but there is no Windows option.
XP 3pack is running

you should try asking the question on the mint linux forum. some people here have a beef about non ubuntu people asking questions here, plus install may be different with mint than with ubuntu.

Your story is confused!

Could you boot on second disk and run command
   sudo update-grub --version
and post result.
I need to know if MBR on second disk uses Grub Legacy(0.97) or Grub2 (1.98)
In the second case, make Linux disk the first disk, and run command
   sudo update-grub.
If issues is solved, please, don't forget to mark question "Solved".
Else please, post partition table.

 Comand update-grub --version isnt correct.
In Ubuntu(or mint) correct comand is grub-install -v. It gives result for grub version. I found it on ubuntu website. Anyway you helped me very much.
Thanks

But still in Windows boot-menu there is Unetbootin.
Disk C: looks like CD instalation disk. However, Add/Remove programs doesnt show Unetbootin.
