Not able to install through Ubuntu software center
I get this message each time i try to install through software center
"The installation could have failed because of an error in the corresponding software package or it was cancelled in an unfriendly way. You have to repair this before you can install or remove any further software."
As far as i remember i canceled the installation of software yesterday, after that i am getting this issue.
Please let me known how to resolve this.

I had the same problem I went to (System - addmin - software source) now not exactly sure of the procedure then, but I was given a command to run in the terminal which cleared this.Hope this is of some help

Open Synaptic Package Manager from the System > Administration menu.
Then go to Edit > Fix Broken Packages

The following Terminal output shows a serious configuration issue on your PC:
You should never ever mix jaunty and lucid repositories in the /etc/apt/
Mixing repositories from different releases of Ubuntu CAN and WILL break your package manager.
Please REMOVE every line containing jaunty in the /etc/apt/
