My ubuntu software isn't working. I doesn't show anything. It said to report this 'E:Malformed line 54 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list (URI parse), E:The list of sources could not be read.' Please help me.

cat /etc/apt/sources.list | head -n 54 | tail -n 1

It looks as though one of the entries in your sources.list - which is where Ubuntu gets the addresses for the updates and software packages - is corrupt or contains an incorrect entry.

If you are not sure how to decide whether the entry is wrong, you can open the sources.list in a text editor such as gedit and copy/paste it in a post here for someone to look at.

The message states that the error is on line 54 and relates to a URI (web address) there which gives a starting point.
