need a media software for ripping & playing flac files

I am presently running J River Media 15 on my windows 7 laptop. I have just downloaded Ubuntu 10 in my flash drive and have it working well. However, as music listening is primary with my laptop, I need an media program for audio that will rip flac files. Can anyone suggest a program that would give me what J River Media 15 does?

Rhythmbox is able to convert audio-CDs to FLAC is you change the setting in the options screen of Rhythmbox. Rhythmbox can also play FLAC-files and is shipped standard in Ubuntu.

If you want more control when converting, Sound-Juice is also an option.
