Can't import pst file into evolution

I have just installed ubuntu and I am trying to import my outlook backup pst file. When I click on import and choose the file and the destination nothing happens.

This only did part of the job. I was able to import my archived emails with this but not my contacts or my calendar which are stored as either personal folder.pst or backup.pst.

states:

"The .pst file format is proprietary and cannot be read directly by third-party applications such as Eudora and Mozilla Thunderbird; many such applications are nonetheless able to import data from .pst files via MAPI calls to one of the applications which can read them directly. In October 2009, Paul Lorimer announced Microsoft's intention to release detailed technical documentation of the .pst file format, including "guidance for accessing that data from other software applications"

So you may be able to get a plugin but the format is proprietary so you may get issues. The release may make them more supported, depends if the release has been implemented into something workable.

It must be .pst file corruption I would recommend you next way for resolving given issue http://www.outlook.fixtoolbox.com
