/snap/bin not in environment variable Lubuntu

Asked by Dan Cooper

Hello,
I'm using Lubuntu 18.04 and I set up snap by installing the packages snapd.
After that, I get the message, that /snap/bin is not in PATH.
I was able to fix that by editing /etc/environment
I had to add snap/bin
The new content is:

PATH="/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/snap/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/games"

Shouldn't that be done during the installation process of snapd?
If so, I'll open a bug report.

Kind regards
Dan Cooper
