VCD playing in Ub 810

I am unable to play VCD disks in Ub 810 Totem Player - g streamer already installed.

any suggestions?

I suggest you install smplayer ...

I always use this application to play video ....

And it's so great ...

Go to synaptic, and search smplayer ...

I have installed sm player as suggested and it plays the VCD's and DVD's - in the process Totem Player has been removed since I cannot see it in the menu. In any case all i want is a vcd/dvd player that works.

The problem VCD was one with an auto executing and an exe file. I've got around this problem by running it through Wine and running it direct from there.
