can't coonect to computer

under Smb4k i can see the workgroup and computer ip address listed but wheni scan the computer nothing happens

i have a linux and windows xp on a wireless sitecom router. linux can see the windows computer but the windows xp can not see the linux one. I am very new to this and to linux so need a lot of help please.

Thanks for your question.

In order for windows to be able to see your ubuntu computer, you have to run a samba server on your ubuntu computer.
