Update-alternatives only in devel package?

Asked by Michael Gutteridge

Hi

I was wondering why the update-alternatives step is only done within the development package (debian/slurm-drmaa-dev.postinst). It would seem that having this in the library package (slurm-drmaa1) would be appropriate as well, though obviously it wouldn't slave the header file.

I can send patches and test it in our Slurm environment, but if there's a good reason to keep that step in the development package I'm fine just installing both.

Thanks

Michael
