want a fully updated download for 10.04

I prefer finding my way via a series of lists. Icons mystify me and my memory is so bad i can't remember the exact names for functions to enter in a search. It would be great if I could make a 10.04 start-up disk without having to download all the zillion updates required. I might live happily ever after in the land of 10.04

I suggest waiting until 18 October 2012 (only 11 days away) and then getting Ubuntu 12.10.

If you like te Gnome2 style session rather than Unity shell, I suggest you install Kubuntu or Xubuntu or Lubuntu. You can run all the Gnome apps you like in any desktop
