Will the new Skype be avaible in the repository for Ubuntu 12.04 LTS?
http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/get-skype/on-your-computer/linux/

It seems it only support Ubuntu 10.04 at the moment.

It is compatible with 12.04. Just grab the deb for the architecture of your OS and install it. If you use a 64bit OS you will pull in a lot of 32bit libraries to support it.
