Poor Video in Skype and Hangout Even though I had Good resolution

Hi Experts,

I have a good inbuilt web camera in my Dell latitude laptop. When I use Cheese for photo's and video's I get a resolution of 1920*1080. But I am getting a resolution of 180*120 while using Skype or Hangout. Earlier I used to get good resolution while using google hangout, but since few days I am not getting it. Tried formatting too, but of no use. As of now I am using Ubuntu 11.04 Os. Please help me to get out of this.

Uninstall skype then grab this:
http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2012/06/skype-for-linux-loses-beta-tag-bumps-to-4-0
