cannot get lifecam-3000 to operate on skype ubuntu 10.04

trying to get my lifecam-3000 to work using ubuntu 10.4. works for cheese but not for skype

you need to install additional software for your cam to work on skype. i don't have the link anymore, but you can check the forum on the skype website. it'll tell you what software you need. do a search for linux.
