Recientemente intale una multifuncional hp con HPLIP, la impresora funciona, pero Simple Scan no detecta el escaner

Hola Cesar,

Experimenta con el "Document Scanner" que viene con la instalación de Unbuntu. (Está en "Utilidades")
Verifique que Ubuntu está actualizado.
