In stalling tonnes of scanner applications when there is no driver makes as much sense as installing more games in windows to make your video card work properly.

What is the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; lsusb

I doubt this will be made to work. Kodak stated they were uninterested in Linux support so anything you get will be down tto community effort.

Thanks

thanks for getting back to me - as you can see I am a rank novice....

is there any way that I can make this work, or do I forget about
scanning with the Kodak?
