deleting scans from multiple scan file

When scanning numerous pages they all seem to go into one file. I wish to delete some unwanted pages. I cannot chose individual pages for deletion. I can print individual pages by specifying them in the print dialogue box, but I cannot delete them from the file.

you can right click pages and select "delete" from the context menu
