Computer doesn't reconize my scanner

Asked by Zoppp

I have an Epson Stylus SX130 Printer/Scanner/Photocopier. Printing works just fine. But the scanning software I tried so far (Simple Scan and Skanlite) both say "No Scanner Available". How do I tell the computer that there is indeed a scanner and that it's just the same as the printer?

Thanks in advance for any pointers.

You need the scanner driver. Epson supply drivers for Linux. Go to: http://download.ebz.epson.net/dsc/search/01/search/searchModule and enter your allinone model (SX130 and tell it to get the Linux driver. It will take you straight there.
