Simple scan freezing

Simple Scan is cutting out halfway through a document then freezing - having to use force quit to close it. Have re-installed once, no improvement. Has been OK till yesterday.

Not till you suggested it but I've just installed Xsane which appears to work so far.

I suggest you run:

ubuntu-bug simple-scan

And report the bug, also add that xsane works fine :)
