how to scan documents with HP 2420 printer/scanner

I am trying to scan documents with my HP 2420 printer/scanner
but am unable to find a way of doing it. Please help

Run simplescan and you should be ok.

where do I find simplescan????

I believe it's in a default install. Search for it in dash, if not then install it like anything else and run it
