Scanner not detected, Epson Stylus NX400 All In One Printer

Scaner not detected, Epson Stylus NX400 All In One Printer
     Tried to run AcquireImage and Simple Scan. Each one fails to detect the scanner. The printer works fine. I am running
     UE Ubuntu 2.6.
