no driver for scanner canoscan lide 110

bought this scanner yesterday. would like to use it under ubuntu 10.10. was unable to find driver. The model is not mentioned on the Sane project website.

yes, i did visit the canon website. the software center of canon does not provide a driver for the linux based operating system.

So I guess a Linux driver does not exist for this scanner.

Yes it works fine with sane.

You should be able to see it if you do

lsusb

on the terminal.

Then follow the instructions here:

Buongiorno! Ho lo stesso problema di Peter. Ho scritto nel Terminal lsusb.
