Cant find driver for CanoScan 4400F.

I need a driver like ScanGear for CanoScan 4400F. This is all I need to drop Windows, so very important.

As an alternative: Can anyone recommend a scanner for UBUNTU with same facilities, not too expensive.

Hello,

Check under the Synaptic Package Manager for supported scanners. This is under System/Administration

Unfortunately, Canon is not too Linux friendly.
