Failed to scan, Unable to connect to scanner, Epson (unknown model).

I have Epson Stylus SX105 and he vas functioning like Epson Stylus SX100 because there is still not available an Epson Stylus SX105 support and drivers options. Till I receive this information;

 Failed to scan, Unable to connect to scanner, Epson (unknown model).

I Scan just before, successfully, thus it was functioning.

Guessing you are using the 32 bits version of Ubuntu 10.04

I tried to find a deb package for your scan model from here http://avasys.jp/eng/linux_driver/

But i not found your exact model but i have noted the deb package is in most of link the same... so please try:

Click on this link with Firefox http://linux.avasys.jp/drivers/iscan/2.24.0/iscan_2.24.0-4.ltdl7_i386.deb and select open with gdebi

Then please try to open the Applications → Graphics → Imagescan

Please tell if is working ( but i suppose there is also other steps to do but i want to wait your response ) or the error you get.

P.s. i have already installed with successful Epson Scanner on Ubuntu 10.04
