simplescan warmup time

Asked by George Tripp

10.04

In xsane it's possible to set a warmup time of 0 for my scanner.
Is there a way to do this in simplescan? (Without setting this the scanner sits there for a minute or two before anything happens!)

Apols if this is available but if so it's not obvious to me.

Thanks

Sorry I think you misunderstood what i'm saying.

xsane is fine and allows me to set warm up time.
simplescan doesn't and therefore is the problem.

Obviously I can install xsane if simplescan does not provide this ability. However since simplescan is now provided as default this appears to be a backward step.

Log a bug with xsane then.

Please read what I'm writing. The problem is with SimpleScan!

OK I'll just assume this facility is not available in simplescan and install/use xsane instead.
