image not showing when selected via Lightdm at sign in.

Asked by zaipai

Is there restrictions for image use? No matter what image I select in Simple LightDM Manager the login screen is just black, that is the default color when no image is selected. So is there size, color depth etc.. limitations?

Thanks!

Maybe contact maintainer of ppa.
https://launchpad.net/~claudiocn/+archive/slm

Or try it manually in
/etc/lightdm/unity-greeter.conf

Just need to change path of the image there.
[greeter]
background=/usr/share/backgrounds/warty-final-ubuntu.png

e.g.
[greeter]
background=/home/<user>/Images/<image-file>

When finished logout-in.

Can you help with this problem?
