mtp and shotwell problems.
Ive been having a hard time trying to transfer files from my mtp samsumg galaxy s3 ...shotwell doesnt transfer my sdcard photoas becauses acording to shotwell theres an application using my phone...i dont kmow what this means...and am bonus question:does ubuntu will read mtp devises automatically someday???

Shotwell should offer to unmount the device before importing images. Is it not doing that?
If not, you can unmount the device manually. Run Nautilus. You should see the phone listed in the sidebar on the left-hand side of the window. (If you don't see the sidebar, press the F9 key.) There should be a little arrow next to your phone. Press that and wait a moment. That should unmount then phone.
Then try running Shotwell again and see if you can import your photos.
