shotwell: issue with printing multiple photos per page

Asked by Joseph Huber

When printing in shotwell, it does not seem possible to combine the "Use a standard size" option with printing multiple images per page found in "Autosize". For example, one can fit two or even three 4x6 images on an 8.5x11 page, two 5x7 images on an 8.5x11 page, etc. Is there some way to do this in shotwell?

If not, would it be possible to add this as a feature? I am transitioning from Microsoft Office Picture Manager, which has this feature, and it is quite handy.

Thanks!

Have you tried other photo manager apps?

I haven't tried any other photo manager apps. There seem to be quite a few of them. Which do you recommend?

Unfortunately Shotwell can't yet print multiple photos per page when the photos are size-constrained. There is, however, an upstream ticket for this issue (http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/5686) and we hope to implement it an upcoming release of Shotwell.
