Shotwell Doesn't Display RAW on CF Card

When I am importing my images directly from my CF card, shotwell .12.2 displays their preview as a red circle slash. After they are imported, it shows the RAW image correctly, in the destination folder. Is this normal behavior?

This may be related to a known issue which as been ticketed upstream: http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/4992

What type of camera do you have? If you try to import from the camera, do the previews appear properly?

I have a Canon, like the author of the bug, but it produces the error irregardless of the images being loaded from the camera or the CF card. Once they are downloaded onto the computer, it displays them correctly.

Upon further research, this is a known issue we've ticketed upstream:
