email of a picture

I like to email a picture directly from the contextmenu, but nothing happens when I select the picture en put the emailadress in the dialogbox.
I'am using Ub 11.04, Evolution en Shotqwell 0.9.3.

Is there a solution.

Are you certain this is a Shotwell-only issue? Shotwell uses the Nautilus send-to extension for e-mailing files. Could you test this directly in Nautilus? Right click a file and select "send to" and see if you can e-mail from there.

If you can't e-mail from there, we can change the package on this question from shotwell to nautilus.

hello Eric,

I just tested this directly in Nautilus and indeed I couldn't e-mail a picture from Nautilus either.

So what to do now?

This is a known problem on Ubuntu Natty (not with Shotwell specifically):

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus-sendto/+bug/765847

According to that bug, they've recently released a fix. Are you sure you've applied all software updates?
