Clearing imported folders

Is there a way to clear an imported folder? or clean my database and start over again?
I don't want to delete any photos - just clean up the database or reset it to nothing and start over again...
can this be done? is there a file I can delete to do this?
any help would be appreciated...

If you want to delete your database, just delete the ~/.shotwell directory. That's all there is to it!
