I can't locate my video files on bloggie.

Asked by Acknud on 2011-05-26

I have installed Ubuntu and Shotwell. When I hooked up my bloggie, it immediately found my photos and imported them. I am unable to find the video files I have taken to import them. Is there another program to use or a setting I have missed?

Is a "bloggie" some type of camera?

Shotwell uses GPhoto for importing from cameras. If GPhoto doesn't support video files, unfortunately Shotwell cannot import them directly. You may be able to use Nautilus (or another file manager) to locate the videos on the device, then drag and drop them into Shotwell (or File -> Import)

But one thing to check before you do that -- is your Find toolbar on? If so, turn it off -- you may be filtering out videos by mistake!

Can you help with this problem?
