can't find installation manual for ubuntu xenial

please help me find one installation guide for Shinken on Ubuntu Xenial that is tested and actually works.
Installing via pip doesn't work, using the install script as detailed in the following link doesn't finish the job either:

shinken is no more provided in the Ubuntu repositories for xenial and later, see also

I suggest that you try installing from source as described in https://shinken.readthedocs.org/en/latest/02_gettingstarted/installations/

retried after upgrading from xenial beta2 by installing via pip.
worked.
