how to find sudo apt password?

Asked by James Dodd

I am trying to install Steadflow on ubuntu 11.04 but I do not know the sudo-apt password. As it is essential to work in terminal, I would like to be able to use it.

The password for sudo is your personal account password, you entered it at installation and you are using it to login.

Please read this:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases

Ubuntu 11.04 is end-of-life and not supported anymore since October 28, 2012

I suggest installing Ubuntu 12.04 or Ubuntu 12.10.

I also suggest reading this:

Why did you install such an old (and dead) release

As pointed out above 11.04 is no longer supported so "apt-get" may not work because the repositories may have been removed.

The password is your normal log on password. If you have forgotten it see here

I would certainly recommend upgrading to 12.04

Can you help with this problem?
