I can't use my administration password

Asked by Janne Uljua

I can log in to my computer with the same password I made the administration password as. Now when I try to download more apps and it asks for the administrators password, I can't use it. It says the password is wrong. It really sucks when I can't get any more apps and I really don't want to re-install ubuntu on my computer.. Please help!

How do you mean the same password you made the administrator password? You never set an administrator password, it is always just your account password. (Unless you ussually use a non admin user, and have another user purely for admin)
