Admin. account password lost ? locked out... it is self explanatory....'LOL? Any way in?

Hold shift at boot, select recovery mode then select root and run:

passwd foo; reboot

change foo for your username. Eg:

passwd andy; reboot

You can now log in as your username with the new password.
