i bought this machine but dont have admin password

Reboot and hold shift. Select recovery mode, select root

then run:

cd /home; ls

ls == LS in lower case

You can now see the usernames. You can now run:

passwd foo

(replace foo with the username. E.g: passwd andy )

you can now run:

reboot

and log in as the user with your new password.
