Set serial port baud rate at boot up

yes, i have been trying to find a way of setting the baud rate of a serial port at boot up time.

ttyS0 4800 baud

Version Ubuntu 10.10

Yes, Thx for the link. I did read it and I do not have this file in Ubuntu 10.10 server /etc/inittab

brian@area51:/etc$ ls inittab
ls: cannot access inittab: No such file or directory

I have tried setserial, but after I reboot the computer, the serial port is back to top speed again.
