Display VGA port doesn't set sct color

Hello,
sct command doesn't set color on notebook external VGA port screen.
I found https://github.com/faf0/sct#about might resolve, but I am using mate ubuntu 17.04 32 bit.
It is listed some fixes, such as:
>iterate over all screens of the default display and change the color temperature.
Does distro package have been corrected or should I resort to faf0's?
