Why is searchmonkey version not updated?

Asked by Saji Nediyanchath

The searchmonkey version in the Ubuntu repositories is '0.8.1'. But the latest stable is 2.0.0 released in May. Why is it not being updated to this version?

No idea. If you want it updated file a bug report. Explain why it needs updating.

You can always update your own computer if you can find a PPA for it or the deb files.

I recommend you report a bug, it will get the package updated if the package reviewers deem it necessary (likely)
