sudo add-apt-repository ppa:joe-nationnet/seamonkey-beta
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install seamonkey

Will give the 2.7 beta version of seamonkey, is this what you want?

Not quite what I need - SeaMonkey is now at 2.9.1, and I want to add the source through the package manager rather than the terminal.

What is the specific info for both, just in case I have problems?

Thanks!

Fne but the 3 commands will do it but I'll tell you anyway. Why are you wanting to avoid the terminal?

If you load up software centre, You can add it in there, you will need to add:

ppa:joe-nationnet/seamonkey-beta

as a new software source, then reload the sources and install it.

It's MUCH easier and faster (not waiting for slow GUI apps to run) by using the commands which you can simply copy and paste.

Repo doesn't support raring. If you cannot diagnose that you pobably shouldn't be using pre-releases

He understands that the repo doesn't support raring. That's why he is asking for it.
