Forgot my password

Asked by Jordan on 2013-01-05

I installed passwords and keys and I would not use it in sometime, forgot my password and don't know how to bring it back.
I removed the program, and the key is still there, bring it back but didn't see from where to return or change it.
If you can help me i would appreciate it.

If you mean your login password there is no way to get it back, if you could it would not be very secure. You can reset it however: see here -

http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/resetpassword

or here

or here

If you mean some other password. You will need to be more specific: What's the password for?

No new ideas for now. Please e-mail me if you can figure out any, it sure would be very helpful. I'm <email address hidden> and I can also be reached at <email address hidden>. I'm more adjusted to the Windows kernal and am having to learn something pretty different on this kernal.

Can you help with this problem?
