Keyring problem after upgrade to 11.10

Asked by Jarno Suni

When I use chromium-browser, I frequently get pop-up dialog box prompting for some login keyring password. This did not happen before upgrade. What is wrong and how to proceed?

I have not set my account to automatically log in at startup. I have to give password then, but isn't this login keyring password different thing? Why it is asked even if I have logged in?
Exact message in the dialog: "Enter password to unlock your login keyring
The login keyring did not get unlocked when you logged into your computer." The dialog accepts the same password that I have used in login. Do I miss some security, if I change to blank password? Does the login password become blank, too? Does it matter that I have encrypted home partition?

Try to reinstall Chromium.

~$ sudo apt-get install --reinstall chromium-browser

Another suggestion could be to remove the Chromium's forlder , but this will detele also your bookmarks .. etc.

~$ rm -r .config/chromium/ <== Be carefull with this command. Do not remove all .config folder.

Thanks
