Utopic is end of life and no longer supported in any way

I suggest you wipe the install off and do a clean install of Bionic. Bionic is released in a few days and is LTS. Supported until April 2023

What you are doing is like searching for updates for Windows 98. There are none

Ok, thanks, I am trying to get my Hauppauge HVR-1955 tv tuner to work, some moron told me to downgrade to this level, thinbk I'm giving up on linux, too damn complicated to try and just watch tv...just dread doing Winblows again...but it at least works w/ my TV tuner
