upgrading from 20.04.6 packages to 22.04.2

Asked by William Henry

I am updating an offline system from 20.04.6 to 22.04.2. I am using an online system with 22.04.2 to download all the packages/dependencies individually that were used in the offline 20.04.6 system. I was wondering if you were able to tell me about 'autoremove', 'python-scipy', & 'ubuntu-system-service' that were used in 20.04.6. I attempt to 'sudo apt install --download-only' and they come back as not available or unable to locate. I have used the Ubuntu package search webpage but cannot find them for 22.04.2. Have they been deprecated or replaced by another package? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For ubuntu-system-service see Bug #1915477

python-scipy has been replaced by python3-scipy (already on 20.04)

And I never heard about a package named autoremove.

Can you help with this problem?
