It just seems to me that there are far too many scim processes running under my system. Especially as in spite of having installed scim on my system, I haven't actually managed to get it to work yet. So so given that I am unable to use the IME properly for the moment, why should there be over 50 different scim processes running at any one time? At the moment, the process scim-panel-gtk is appearing at least 51 times and all in all but one case is running under my username.
