Doesn't work as expected

Hi folks!

I tried to get scanbd to run but wasn't able yet. I followed the steps from the readme file after installing scanbd and copied the files from /etc/sane.d to /etc/scanbd/sane.d. I made the net backend the only one in /etc/sane.d/dll.conf and the plustek backend the working one in /etc/scanbd/sane.d/dll.conf, same for /etc/scanbd/dll.conf. The services scanbd.service and scanbm.socket are running, but when I type scanimage -L, no scanner is found even with sudo. This happens although my scanner is correctly working with xsane on a linux machine and even when I configured it as a network scanner and used my CanoScan Lide 30 from a remote machine, it scanned correctly.
What information(s) do you need to give me a clue at least?
