Samba Installation

Hai,
      I have installed Ubuntu 9.10 in my system. How can I install Samba in my system.
      I have installed Samba from Synaptic Package Installer. But the application cannot be found anywhere.
Please tell me what to do....

You don't run samba like you do gedit, samba is a service.

You can add shares using nautilus by right clicking them and selecting share

The folder will then be shared as you wish
