networking with Windows and Ubuntu pc

i can see my windows network but ho do i see a second linux machine on my network???

Please tell us the ip of your pc... are the set in a good way...?

Then if they are ok, reading some of this https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba can bring you to the right direction...
