Setting up Samba for Jaunty and Vista file sharing.

Asked by michana

Hey- Having a problem setting up Samba to share files between Jaunty and Vista. I believe I have installed everything I need. I have installed Samba and when I go to 'places -> network' I get a window showing an icon "windows network". when I double click that to open there is nothing there. I am completely new to ubuntu and networking. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have looked and looked on the ubuntu forums and youtube but could not find anything pertaining to jaunty and samba.

Thanks for your help!
